QVERLESEN – Installation in the showroom / Gerald Priewasser – Höller
Wednesday, 10th March to Wednesday, 7th April 2021.
The publication “Wir Können Da Was Machen. Dimensions of designs of the KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd” is the theme and the material of the room installation QVERLESEN by the designer Gerald Priewasser-Höller.
Tightly packed, hundreds of catalogues are carried as if on a wave, almost floating, and the contents are presented facing the viewers.
In this abundance, the signature of the KunstRaum, as can be seen in the publication, is presented and brought into the space as a coherent whole.
In QVERLESEN, the “WE” of the participants in the KunstRaum project series is in the foreground.
QVERLESEN means cross-reading, reading out and reading in order to enable new ways of reading the publication on closer inspection.
The showroom invites visitors to look at the works as they pass by.
Entering the room is done for the sole purpose of intervening in the installation here, changing it by taking out a catalogue and
to pass on the ideas and thoughts, images and stories.
